Water Wag Membership

The Club’s subscription arrangements are designed to make membership inclusive and, at the same time, less costly for friends and family who are perhaps only involved occasionally and to assist with the maintenance of an up-to-date list of members required for insurance purposes, they work as follows-

• Each boat entry should be accompanied by annual subscriptions for a minimum of two named persons (normally the likely regular helm and crew) and may be accompanied by any number of additional persons, at the following rates: €25 for the first member, €20 for the second member and €1 each for any additional members.

• Subscription(s) paid together, but separately from a boat entry, will be treated in exactly the same way i.e. €25 for the first member, €20 for the second, etc. Please write "n/a" for questions relating to boat and crew details which must be answered.

• Each member’s name and contact details to be listed at the time of payment. Any person listed who is not already a member of The Water Wags will be proposed as a member as part of this process and elected by the Committee prior to the season commencing.

• New members proposed later in the season and who are associated with either a boat or subscription which has already been paid, will be charged €20/€1 as appropriate and will be elected a member by the committee at the earliest opportunity.

You will be informed separately of any amount due for engraving of trophies but it would be appreciated if you would pay this at the same time as paying your subscriptions.

Reminder: To be eligible for Water Wag points / prizes a boat must be owned and helmed by members of The Water Wags whose subscriptions have been paid for the current year. Any entry fee must be paid prior to her first race.
